Day 1: Arrival / Tel Aviv
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 2: Tel Aviv- Jaffa/ Caesarea Maritima/ Mount Carmel/ Galilee
Breakfast. We start the day with a brief panoramic visit to the main streets of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. On the way along the coast, visit Caesarea Maritima, the Roman Theater, Crusader and Byzantine ruins (conversion of Cornelius). We then continue to the port city of Haifa, the Persian Gardens of Bahai, Stella Maris Carmelite Church. Panoramic views from Mount Carmel. Proceed to Cana of Galilee (Wedding at Cana- 1st public miracle- renewal of marriage vows). Arrival at the hotel in Galilee. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 3: Sea of Galilee
Breakfast. Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, or "Lake Kinneret”. Visit Capernaum, the "City of Jesus”- Synagogue, Peter's house. Tabgha: Church of the Primacy- "Mensa Christi”, Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish. On to the Church of the Mount of Beatitudes- "Sermon on the Mount”. Visit the Jordan River- Yardenit baptismal site. Return to our hotel in Galilee. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 4: Nazareth / Mount Tabor / Jericho / Jerusalem
Breakfast. Start the day in Nazareth- Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph's Carpentry, the Holy Family house. Visit Mount Tabor, ascend by special taxis to the mountaintop to visit the Church of the Transfiguration. Departure through the Jordan Valley via Jericho, the oldest city in the world- panoramic view of the Mount of Temptation and the Tree of Zacchaeus. Continue to Jerusalem. Panoramic views from Mount Scopus, Hebrew University of Jerusalem- "Triumphant Entry." Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 5: Jerusalem
Breakfast. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension and Church of Our Father (Pater Noster). Descend the Mount of Olives, viewing the amazing panorama of Jerusalem- the Holy City, towards the Church of Dominus Flevit (where the Lord wept for Jerusalem). Arrive at the Abbey of Gethsemane, visit the garden, Cave of Betrayal, and the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. In the afternoon, visit Bethlehem- the Church of the Nativity, and the cave of St. Jerome. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 6: Jerusalem
Breakfast. Start the day with a visit to Mount Zion- Church of the Dormition of the Virgin, Tomb of King David, Room of the Last Supper. Enter the Old City to visit the Western Wall. On to visit the Church of St. Anne, Bethesda's probatic pool, through the alleys of the oriental market, follow the stations of the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha (Calvary), visit the Holy Sepulcher, the place of the Tomb and Resurrection. In the afternoon, free time in the Old City market. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 7: Masada and the Dead Sea
Breakfast. Departure to the Judean Desert to visit the famous Roman fortress, King Herod's palace, and the last stronghold of Jewish rebels against the Roman Empire- "Masada." On to the Dead Sea- the lowest place on earth (430 meters below sea level) to bathe and float in the therapeutic waters. Visit Return to the hotel in Jerusalem. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 8: Departure
Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
