Day 1- Palm Sunday: Arrival / Tel Aviv
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2-Monday: Tel Aviv- Jaffa / Caesarea Maritima / Mount Carmel / Galilee
Breakfast. We start the day with a brief panoramic visit to the main streets of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Along the coast, we visit Caesarea Maritima, the Roman Theater, Crusader and Byzantine ruins (conversion of Cornelius). We then continue to the port city of Haifa, the Persian Gardens of Bahai, Stella Maris Carmelite Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and panoramic views from Mount Carmel. Continue to Cana of Galilee (Wedding at Cana - 1st public miracle - renewal of marriage vows). Arrival at the hotel in Galilee. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3- Tuesday: Sea of Galilee
Breakfast. Boat crossing of the Sea of Galilee, or "Lake Tiberias." Visit Capernaum Synagogue, the "City of Jesus," Peter's house, Tabgha: Church of the Primacy "Mensa Christi," Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, and the Church of the Mount of Beatitudes "Sermon on the Mount." Visit the Jordan River (Baptisms) and Yardenit baptismal site. Return to our hotel in Galilee. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4- Wednesday: Nazareth / Mount Tabor / Jericho / Jerusalem
Breakfast. Start the day in Nazareth - Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph's Carpentry, the "Holy Family" house. Visit Mount Tabor, ascend by special taxis to the mountaintop to visit the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Departure through the Jordan Valley via Jericho, the oldest city in the world- panoramic view of the Mount of Temptation and the Tree of Zacchaeus. Continue to Jerusalem. Panoramic views from Mount Scopus, Hebrew University of Jerusalem- "Triumphant Entry." Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5- Thursday: Jerusalem/ Bethlehem
Breakfast. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord, the Cave of the Our Father, descend the Mount of Olives, with the most beautiful view of Jerusalem, the "Holy City," towards the Church of Dominus Flevit (where the Lord weeps for Jerusalem), Garden of Gethsemane, Cave of Betrayal, and the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. In the afternoon, visit Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity, and the cave of St. Jerome. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6- Holy Friday: Jerusalem
Breakfast. Early departure to the Holy Sepulcher. Participation in the special liturgy- “Celebration of the Passion of the Lord at the Calvary”. On to visit the Church of St. Anne, Bethesda's probatic pool, through the alleys of the oriental market, follow the stations of the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha (Calvary), visit the Holy Sepulcher, the place of the Tomb and Resurrection. Mount Zion- Church of the Dormition of the Virgin, Tomb of King David, Room of the Last Supper. Visit the Western Wall. In the afternoon, free time in the Old City market. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation
Day 7- Saturday: Dead Sea / Masada
Breakfast. In the morning- free time to enjoy, bathe, and float in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea- the lowest place on earth (430 meters below sea level). Departure to the Judean Desert, to visit the famous Roman fortress, King Herod's palace, and the last stronghold of Jewish rebels against the Roman Empire- "Masada." Continue to Jerusalem. Panoramic views from Mount Scopus, Hebrew University of Jerusalem- "Triumphant Entry." Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8- Easter Sunday: Jerusalem
Breakfast. Optional departure at 06:30am to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, to participate in the Easter Sunday Mass. Continuation to visit the New City: Museum of Jerusalem, Temple of the Book, and the Model of what Jerusalem was like in the time of Jesus, 2000 years ago. Panoramic views of the Modern City - Municipal Theater, Presidential Residence, Central Bank, Supreme Court, Ministry Zone, Parliament or "Knesset," if possible the Menorah (or "Candelabrum"). Visit the Holocaust Museum - "Yad VaShem," memorial to the victims murdered by the Nazis in World War II. In the afternoon, visit Ein Karem, where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Return to our hotel. Accommodation and dinner.
Day 9- Monday: Departure
Breakfast. At the necessary time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
